Reggae original style

My name is Dr Huxtable, I am the founder of the Axis Sound System , Which incorporates many different aspects of the Reggae music scene.

First and foremost ‘Axis’ was built to play original Roots And Revival Reggae music in the style and fashion best suited for that music. In other words, Axis tries to keep the sound ‘original’.

From these humble beginnings over the years came many offshoots. There are two Axis Sound Systems one that is smaller and comprises of original equipment (valve amps, Goodmans speakers etc) and one which is larger, used mainly for bigger venues and hire out purposes.

If you love original reggae music, you’ll love the world of Axis.

Dubstep POWAH

Along for the ride are the massive POWAH Collective bringing a dubstep vibe to the proceedings. The POWAH NETWORX started life as an allnight basement dub session Sept 2007. The Huddersfield dubstep sound was created & in Sept 2008 the dubstep night POWAH was born. Their first record is coming out soon.
