Well, we've finally made it. After waking up drunk on New Years Day and deciding my New Year's Resolution would be to 'Run a Festival', it's now 8 months on I can't believe we have such a cavalcade of attractions for you to enjoy this weekend. 10 music stages, activities for families and kids, rides, live graffiti art, craft and food stalls and loads, loads more. And no admission charge. Every Artist playing today is giving their time free, as are all the volunteers and organisers. This is so we can give everyone in the community a special weekend and raise money for local charities such as the Sophie Lancaster foundation, who will be receiving all the profits (£3.20) from each programme.

Soak up the sun (hopefully) and enjoy all that we have on offer, there really is something for everyone. Let's enjoy and celebrate the diversity these valleys have to offer. Be safe. Drink enough water. Recycle. Dance. Smile. Enjoy.
