Todstock

So many people have given their time and effort free of charge to make this happen, it's incredible and a testiment to the goodwill that exists in the area.

The following people have been instrumental in pulling all this together and in securing funding so that it remains free for you to enjoy - If you meet any of these people, shake their hands as it is a grand thing they have done! Chris Halpin, Cliff and Clare Edens, Terri Collier, Mark and Sue from Jack's House, Cheryl Thomas, John Wareing, Kelly Roddy, Alan McDonald and Jeremy Owen-Lee. Also special props to Peter Vardy at Calderdale council, whose support and enthusiasm for the event has helped make it a reality. I would like a special mention for Ian Dobie and Todfest, whose generous donation when it was most needed has given us half our budget. Without them, there would be no Todstock.

In addition, there are loads of people and organisations who have come together to make this event special on the day - either by helping set up, running marquees or capturing the event for posterity.
They are Caz-Hughes Dennis and her team, Paul Axis, Matt Anonymous, Craig Priestley and Amanda Harris, Tim Owen, Billzilla, Mark Ellison, Jeff Herby, Wayne Psybase, Carrie Mcgrath, Lee Neale and all at SENTO House and the Acorn Centre, Shirley Fielder, Paul Leeson, Dave Hancock and BOMfest, Steven Hooper and Kayleigh, The video crew at SENTO, Scott Noddings, Mary Clear, Laura Sunderland and Ellie Marland.

In addition, a big, big thank you to all the volunteer stewards helping out on the day.

And lastly, but the biggest thanks of all goes to all the Artists performing for free this weekend. It is their generosity that allows this event to take place. The least you can do is reach in your pocket for a few quid to support local charities in return. Oh, and dance your ass off too.
